Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with an innovative AI‑focused company in Cork City that is expanding its quality assurance capabilities. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer you will lead the design and execution of automated tests, ensuring high‑quality releases in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated test suites for core functionality and regression testing using Python and Playwright.
• Develop and sustain BDD test coverage with Behave and Gherkin where appropriate.
• Utilise Claude Code and Cursor to speed up test development, debugging and maintenance.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid, reliable feedback.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in test automation.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Based in Cork or willing to relocate.
