Senior Reliability & Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Reliability & Maintenance Manager to join our site leadership team and drive engineering excellence across a large‑scale manufacturing operation. You will be responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, leading continuous‑improvement initiatives, and ensuring full compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the site maintenance and asset reliability strategy.
• Implement preventive, predictive and condition‑based maintenance programmes.
• Optimise asset lifecycle management and spare‑parts inventories.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of maintenance managers, engineers and technical specialists.
• Foster collaboration with operations, quality, safety and engineering functions.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety, environmental, quality and legal requirements.
• Manage engineering budgets, capital projects and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Contribute to site leadership discussions on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and people metrics.

Required profile

• Significant engineering leadership experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food & beverage, consumer goods or pharmaceutical environments.
• Proven track record of improving equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Experience managing maintenance teams and developing technical talent.
• Budget management and capital‑project delivery experience.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning, asset management and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Engineering qualification or recognised trade background with extensive industry experience.
