Senior SEO Content Strategist

About the role

The Senior SEO Content Strategist will own and accelerate organic growth for a high‑growth fintech and cryptocurrency platform. You will combine technical SEO expertise, content creation, analytics, and digital PR to increase visibility, attract qualified audiences, and drive measurable conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a complete organic growth strategy, including keyword research, competitive analysis, SEO roadmap, and performance targets.
• Implement technical SEO improvements such as site architecture, crawlability, page speed, schema markup, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals.
• Partner with developers and designers to ensure new product launches follow SEO best practices.
• Manage SEO tools and reporting platforms (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) to identify opportunities and provide insights.
• Create and optimise content strategies across blogs, landing pages, and educational resources.
• Write and edit accurate, engaging content on complex fintech and cryptocurrency topics while maintaining compliance.
• Conduct content audits to refresh and improve existing libraries.
• Lead digital PR initiatives, research‑based campaigns, and link‑earning assets.
• Manage outreach via HARO, Qwoted, and similar platforms to secure high‑authority media coverage.
• Monitor backlink performance, domain authority, and earned media impact.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align organic growth with broader marketing and business goals.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of combined SEO and content marketing experience, preferably in fintech, cryptocurrency, financial services, or another regulated industry.
• Proven track record of increasing organic traffic, improving rankings, and driving conversions through SEO strategy and execution.
