Senior Site Manager – Residential Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a residential construction project in Athlone. You will be responsible for coordinating all on‑site activities, ensuring the project stays on schedule, meets quality standards, and complies with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the on‑site workforce.
• Review plans and drawings, supervise subcontractors, and ensure work is executed efficiently.
• Plan and monitor daily activities to meet strict deadlines.
• Oversee quality control, safety measures and BCAR coordination on the site.
• Resolve technical issues promptly and communicate progress to clients, architects and consultants.
• Supervise direct staff and subcontractors, handling RFIs and technical queries.

Required profile

• Significant experience within a construction contractor environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and project execution.
• Proficiency with MS Office and a project scheduling package (e.g., MS Project).
• Good understanding of safety and quality management systems.
• Leadership ability to mentor and motivate teams.
