Senior Software Engineer (Go) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Go to join a fully remote, high‑performing engineering team. You will design and build secure, scalable backend services that power enterprise‑grade applications, collaborating closely with product and design partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services using Go, following modern engineering best practices.
• Architect distributed micro‑service systems with high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, implementation plans, and clean code.
• Build secure APIs and embed security principles throughout infrastructure and application design.
• Design relational database schemas, write efficient SQL, and ensure data integrity and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and manage Kubernetes‑based infrastructure.
• Enhance system observability with monitoring, metrics, distributed tracing, logging, and alerting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to engineering hiring through technical interviews.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience developing backend applications with Go.
• Proven track record designing micro‑services, service‑oriented architectures, and distributed systems.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, relational database design, schema modeling, and advanced SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of system observability, including metrics, logging, monitoring, alerting, and tracing.
• Experience designing secure APIs and implementing authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, or WebAuthn.
