Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

The Senior Tax Accountant will lead tax compliance for all non‑US entities across EME, APAC and Canada. Working within the global finance team, the role combines indirect tax return preparation, coordination with external providers and support for statutory reporting and tax provisioning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT/GST returns for all non‑US companies.
• Maintain and reconcile VAT general ledger accounts.
• Coordinate with external tax providers on corporate income tax returns.
• Support annual statutory financial statement audits.
• Prepare yearly tax provisions and assist with tax audits.
• Monitor new tax legislation in EME and APAC and advise on impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification preferred.
• 4‑5 years post‑qualification experience as a qualified accountant.
• Strong expertise in VAT/GST and indirect tax frameworks.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills across all organisational levels.
• Highly organised with the ability to meet multiple monthly deadlines.
• Proficient with standard IT tools.
