Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a well‑established firm in Dublin. The role offers exposure to a broad range of corporate tax matters with a strong focus on client advisory, allowing you to manage your own portfolio while working alongside senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with CT returns and filings.
• Review tax computations and technical analyses prepared by junior staff.
• Liaise with Revenue on audits, queries and disclosures.
• Support Partners and Directors on advisory projects such as restructurings, succession planning and cross‑border matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and present them to clients or senior leadership.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
• Contribute to proposals, pitch materials and business development initiatives.
• Participate in internal training, marketing events and industry seminars to stay up‑to‑date with tax legislation.

Required profile

• Solid background in tax, preferably with advisory experience across multiple tax heads.
• Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders such as directors or partners.
• Capability to oversee and support junior team members.
• Strong communication and technical aptitude.
