Senior Tax Accountant

About the role
The EMEA Tax team is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to ensure accurate tax accounting, support compliance, and drive process improvements across the region. You will work closely with global tax colleagues and a wide range of internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Support direct and indirect tax compliance for the EMEA region.
- Prepare tax provisions, ensuring financial statements reflect corporate income, deferred and indirect taxes.
- Identify, develop and implement tax‑related process improvements.
- Assist with local, regional and country‑level tax negotiations, audits, implementations and compliance activities.
- Interface with multifunctional teams and external tax advisors to implement tax strategies.
- Review and approve tax payments, manage timely lodgement of returns, and oversee accounting journals and reconciliations.
Required profile
- CTA qualification preferred; ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in multinational tax departments or Big Four environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all organisational levels.
- High energy, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bilingualism is an asset but not mandatory.
