Senior Technical Account Manager

About the role

This senior position is based in Ireland and serves as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers deploying mission‑critical database and AI solutions. You will build long‑term relationships with senior technical stakeholders, helping them maximize the value of their technology investments while guiding complex implementations and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the post‑sales technical point of contact for strategic enterprise accounts.
• Provide guidance on database modernization, deployment strategies, and best practices.
• Lead solution architecture, technical consulting, troubleshooting, and project coordination for major initiatives.
• Maintain deep expertise in the organization’s database platform and related technologies.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to product teams to influence enhancements.
• Document best practices, technical recommendations, and deployment guidance.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical questions, issues, and architecture discussions.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to support customer engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience with enterprise relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server).
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, operating systems, and enterprise technical architecture.
• Understanding of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes and modern infrastructure technologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple customer priorities and engage senior technical leaders.
