Senior UI/UX Designer – Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our growing Information Systems / Product team. The role focuses on creating intuitive, user‑centred digital platforms for a financial services organisation, balancing user needs, business goals and technical constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, research sessions and requirements‑gathering activities.
• Translate complex concepts into user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity designs.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define and deliver solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate user research, ideation, usability testing and validation to evolve product vision.
• Design responsive experiences for mobile, tablet and desktop using mobile‑first approaches.
• Identify UX challenges in new and existing products and propose evidence‑based solutions.
• Use analytics and testing outcomes to inform design decisions and measure impact.
• Ensure designs meet WCAG accessibility, usability and brand standards.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to maintain design integrity and contribute to design systems.

Required profile

• Strong experience in UI/UX or product design, preferably within financial services.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end design from discovery to implementation.
• Portfolio demonstrating user‑centred design thinking and real‑world impact.
• Degree in Design or equivalent professional experience.
