Senior User Experience Designer – Conversational AI

About the role

Genesys is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer focused on Conversational AI to shape AI‑powered employee experiences. You will work in an ambiguous, emerging problem space, discovering the right problems to solve and turning research insights into clear conversational strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Define ideal conversational flows across multiple use cases, including intent clarification, error recovery, escalation, and context maintenance.
• Create flowcharts, scripts, conversation models, service blueprints, storyboards, and prototypes that capture real‑world AI behavior.
• Conduct user research, synthesize findings, and translate them into experience principles and design recommendations.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, AI specialists, and other designers to ensure feasibility and user‑centred outcomes.
• Influence cross‑functional teams through storytelling, insight sharing, and design rationale.

Required profile

• Strong background in UX fundamentals and conversation or service design.
• Proven ability to work in ambiguous, emerging problem spaces and drive discovery.
• Experience shaping AI‑driven experiences and grounding decisions in evidence.
• Excellent communication skills for influencing stakeholders.
