Service Field Trainer – Technical Help Desk

About the role

The Service Field Trainer will join KONE’s Technical Help Desk in Dublin, delivering hands‑on and classroom training to field operatives who maintain and service lifts and escalators. The role focuses on building competence in new products, methods and digital tools to improve productivity and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver training programmes on KONE’s maintenance methods, new equipment and digital solutions.
• Assess competence gaps together with business and functional stakeholders and tailor localised technical courses.
• Conduct both classroom sessions and on‑site practical training for lift service technicians.
• Support the rollout of new products and services by preparing operatives for changes in processes and tools.
• Collaborate with local technical hubs to foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in lift service, maintenance or minor repairs.
• Fully qualified electrician with a solid technical understanding of product and service solutions.
• Familiarity with both KONE and non‑KONE equipment.
• Willingness to travel and a valid driving licence.
