Service Technician – Field Based Water Cooler Specialist

About the role

Culligan is seeking a motivated Service Technician to join its field team in Cork. You will be responsible for delivering, installing, sanitising, servicing and maintaining water coolers and filtration systems at customer locations, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled sanitisation and disinfection of water coolers and drinking‑water systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment safe, hygienic and fully operational.
• Install, service and repair water coolers and filtration units.
• Replace filters and consumable components according to service schedules.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective technical solutions.
• Complete digital service and sanitisation records using company systems.
• Manage van stock and maintain tools and materials required for daily activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as a professional ambassador for Culligan.

Required profile

• Full, valid driving licence (maximum 6 points, no disqualifying offences).
• Strong focus on cleanliness, quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage a busy schedule and meet performance KPIs.
• Good geographical knowledge of Cork and surrounding areas.
• Excellent communication and customer‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Diagnosing and resolving technical or mechanical issues.
