Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations on construction projects in Cork. You will coordinate work areas, uphold safety and quality standards, and ensure smooth project delivery in a supportive, communicative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities, coordinating trades and work zones.
• Maintain compliance with company and client safety procedures and quality standards.
• Oversee project schedules, produce progress reports, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Handle procurement and logistics for materials and equipment to maximise efficiency.
• Support implementation of Inspection Test Plans and manage project handovers.
• Identify risks, work with senior management to keep projects on time and compliant.
• Close out snags and non‑conformances, ensuring a high‑standard finish.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of ISO45001:2018 safety management and ISO9001:2015 quality management systems.
• Proven leadership ability with excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Demonstrated project management experience, including scheduling and reporting.
