Site Manager – Operations & Safety Lead

About the role

The Site Manager will be responsible for the overall performance, safety, compliance and efficiency of our Cork site. This role bridges the gap between sales promises and operational delivery, ensuring that production and warehouse activities meet quality, cost and delivery targets while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all Health, Safety & Environment activities, ensuring compliance with legal, environmental and company standards.
• Own day‑to‑day site operations across production and warehouse, aligning output with sales forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, waste reduction and throughput.
• Manage goods receipt, storage, inventory accuracy and dispatch, optimizing layout and stock control.
• Deliver consistent product quality and customer‑focused service.
• Lead, coach and develop team leaders, fostering a culture of ownership and discipline.
• Identify and implement process improvements, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Complete required documentation, audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing production and warehouse environments.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive performance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
