Site Selection Manager (Data Center)

About the role

The Site Selection Manager will lead the end‑to‑end lease and acquisition process for new data‑center locations. Working closely with capacity planning, engineering, construction, legal, security and operations teams, you will translate business demand into concrete site decisions and investment proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present investment write‑ups and governance presentations in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with capacity planning, design, construction, legal, security, networking, compliance and operations throughout each project lifecycle.
• Execute lease agreements from demand signal through general availability, driving safety, quality, cost, schedule and rate metrics.
• Manage multiple lease projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with internal teams and external partners.
• Travel globally (≈50% of time) to conduct site visits and evaluate potential data‑center locations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in site selection, real‑estate evaluation, acquisition, development, construction or lease negotiations for industrial‑scale projects.
• BA/BS degree.
• Strong problem‑solving ability in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Proven track record of leading complex negotiations and delivering projects on schedule.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work collaboratively across multiple functions.
