Site Supervisor – Energy Projects

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead on‑site activities for energy projects in Dublin. The role covers start‑up, construction, erection, commissioning and maintenance phases, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule on‑site work together with the Project Manager, allocating resources, equipment and defining milestones.
• Coordinate and monitor all site operations from hand‑over to final delivery, guaranteeing compliance with contract specifications, quality, schedule and safety requirements.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with customers, authorities, banks and suppliers to secure support for field activities.
• Develop and enforce a detailed Health & Safety plan, train all personnel, and suspend work when safety violations occur.
• Oversee material handling, storage and logistics to ensure correct installation of Hitachi Energy equipment.
• Manage subcontractors, monitoring progress and quality to meet agreed delivery dates and standards.

Required profile

• Electrician qualification or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a foreman or charge‑hand role within construction or energy projects.
