Site Trainer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an organised and engaging Site Trainer to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on planning, delivering and coordinating training programmes that ensure employees work safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and promote the Nvolve training management system.
• Deliver new‑starter inductions covering manual handling, food safety and related documentation.
• Provide training on Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions while keeping records current.
• Develop and enhance in‑house training programmes, materials and learning resources.
• Partner with production leaders and managers to identify training needs and monitor progress.
• Track certifications, mandatory training and refresher requirements to maintain compliance.
• Produce training reports, maintain attendance and competency matrices, and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Coordinate First Aid, FLT, Reach Truck, Shunter and Stacker training, including scheduling refresher courses.
• Liaise with external training providers and manage training facilities.
• Schedule training activities to minimise operational disruption.

Required profile

• Confident communicator who enjoys creating a positive learning environment.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in a training or L&D role within a manufacturing environment.
