Software Engineer 3 – Atlas API Experience Integrations

About the role

MongoDB is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to join the Atlas API Experience (APIx) team. You will help build automation tooling and integrations that enable developers to deploy and manage MongoDB clusters across multiple cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Propose, design, implement, and support product features for MongoDB Atlas DevOps and SDK tooling, including CloudFormation resources, Terraform provider, and Go SDK.
• Develop integration components using Golang (primary) and optionally Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and maintain automation tools that simplify deployments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Ship incremental parts of complex projects and contribute to a Level‑2 support rotation.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration with partner frameworks.

Required profile

• Passionate about DevOps, automation, and building developer‑focused tooling.
• Self‑motivated, curious, and able to work effectively across distributed teams.
• Based in Dublin and comfortable with a hybrid working model.

Required skills

• Golang (primary language)
• Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript (experience in at least one)
