Software Engineer – Collaboration Platform

About the role

Cisco's Collaboration organization is looking for a Software Engineer to help shape the Agentic Developer Experience and define the security posture for its collaboration products. You will work closely with engineering teams to understand developer needs, improve workflows, and contribute to internal platforms and tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining the Agentic Developer Experience for Cisco Collaboration.
• Help establish and maintain security standards for collaboration services.
• Engage with engineering teams to gather feedback and enhance user experience.
• Contribute to internal developer platforms, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines using the GitHub ecosystem.
• Participate in building and maintaining Agentic Workflows and related automation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or a related role.
• Familiarity with modern development practices, version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
