Software Engineer I – Digital Experience Engineering

About the role

Bentley Systems is seeking a Software Engineer I to join its Digital Experience Engineering team. You will help build modern, scalable web experiences and APIs that power customer‑facing administrative portals used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop front‑end and back‑end components for web applications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to learn design patterns, coding practices, and delivery approaches.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Work in an agile environment using CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously explore new technologies and improve technical communication skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented programming.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Collaborative, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn.
