Software Engineering Manager – Decision Management Program

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a hands‑on Software Engineering Manager to lead the Decision Management Program (DMP) team in Donabate. The team builds real‑time, streaming analytics solutions that power fraud‑prevention decisions for every Mastercard transaction worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and conduct performance reviews for a cross‑functional engineering team.
• Translate business priorities into a clear technical roadmap and deliver high‑value features.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Apply best development practices to produce maintainable, testable, scalable and secure code.
• Manage own workload while coordinating with teammates to meet project milestones.

Required profile

• Proven people‑management experience in a software development environment.
• Strong Java programming background with deep language expertise.
• Ability to multitask and solve complex technical problems creatively.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple priorities within business timelines.
