Solar & BESS Construction Site Manager

About the role

Greenbuddies is seeking a full‑time Solar & BESS Construction Site Manager to lead on‑site activities across its European photovoltaic and battery storage projects. The role is based on the construction site and involves daily coordination of teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safe, on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project schedules.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Maintain project quality, performance standards, and documentation.
• Monitor cost control, budgeting and planning activities on‑site.
• Resolve construction challenges promptly and efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in site and construction management, preferably on large‑scale solar or BESS projects.
• Proficiency in planning, cost control and budgeting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and knowledge of construction safety regulations.
• Technical understanding of photovoltaic and battery storage systems is an advantage.
• Fluent English; German, French or other European languages beneficial.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to dynamic on‑site requirements.
