Staff Data Analyst

About the role

As a Staff Data Analyst on the Engineering Enablement team at Analog Devices in Limerick, you will lead the creation and evolution of analytics dashboards that provide insight into product development and engineering tool usage. Your work will translate complex engineering workflows into clear metrics and reports used by engineers and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering domain teams (design, verification, IP, AI) to understand workflows and define high‑value telemetry and productivity metrics.
• Define data schemas, granularity, and transformation logic and communicate requirements to the Central Data team.
• Design, maintain, and enhance a Power BI semantic model, including relationships and DAX measures, that serves multiple reports.
• Build, publish, and iterate on Power BI dashboards and reports for engineering managers and executives.
• Own data correctness and metric definitions, working with the Central Data team to scope and validate pipeline work.
• Document metric definitions, data lineage, and report logic for auditability.
• Identify new data sources, personas, and use cases to expand the impact of analytics.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a comparable quantitative discipline.
• Proven ability to work directly with non‑technical stakeholders to define metrics and translate domain knowledge into data requirements.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report design, deployment pipelines).
• Strong SQL skills for writing and reviewing transformation logic.
• Experience defining data schemas and managing data lineage.
