About the role

Emerald Nursing is seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work on an agency basis across a range of prestigious private hospitals, HSE teaching hospitals, national specialist centres and leading care groups in Ireland. You will enjoy premium hourly rates, full control over your diary and the opportunity to work in diverse clinical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients in acute, community or specialist settings.
• Administer medication, monitor patient vitals and respond to clinical changes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, physiotherapists and care assistants.
• Adhere to infection control, health and safety standards and professional guidelines.

Required profile

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as a Registered General Nurse.
• Minimum six months of recent clinical experience within the Irish healthcare system.
• Strong clinical references and eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training and certifications.
• Garda vetting and occupational health clearance (arranged by Emerald Nursing).
