Staff Nurse – Disability Services

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is for a Staff Nurse delivering disability services across the Strokestown, Elphin, Tulsk, Ballinagare and Ballaghaderreen areas. The role is offered by Corlann Disability Services, a publicly funded organisation, and is open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to individuals with disabilities in community settings.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions in line with professional standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families and external agencies to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in on‑call duties and emergency response as required.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (NMBI‑registered) with eligibility to practice in Ireland.
• Experience in community or disability nursing is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple locations.
