Staff Nurse – Hospital Staff Bank (Ireland)

About the role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking qualified Staff Nurses to join its Staff Bank across several hospitals in the Dublin and South East health region. This position is open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants and offers the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings on a flexible basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality direct patient care in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Administer medications, treatments and interventions safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and acute clinical situations.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Qualified with a recognised nursing degree.
• Willingness to work across multiple hospital sites in the Tipperary region.
• Flexibility to cover shifts on short notice.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
