Staff Nurse

About the role

Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to deliver person‑centred care to our residents. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to promote independence, dignity and quality of life for each individual.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans in line with HIQA standards and evidence‑based practice.
• Maintain accurate written records and reports on resident care.
• Collaborate closely with families, guardians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Advocate for residents’ rights, autonomy and consent, supporting participation in community‑based activities.
• Uphold a safe, respectful environment that reflects the ethos of Moorehall Lodge.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Desirable: minimum three years’ experience as a staff nurse in a nursing home.
