Staff Nurse

About the role

Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to deliver person‑centred care to our residents. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans, ensuring the highest standards of safety and dignity.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care plans in line with HIQA standards and evidence‑based practice.
• Maintain accurate written records and reports of resident care.
• Collaborate closely with families, guardians and the multidisciplinary team to optimise resident outcomes.
• Advocate for residents’ rights, autonomy and informed decision‑making.
• Promote independence, mental and physical stimulation through tailored activities and community participation.

Required profile

• Nursing qualification recognised in Ireland (essential).
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (essential).
• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Desirable: minimum three years experience as a staff nurse in a nursing home.
