Staff Nurse

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Staff Nurses to join Ashbury Nursing Home in Blackrock, Dublin. The role involves delivering person‑centred nursing care to residents in a residential care setting, supporting their physical, psychological and spiritual wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day nursing care and assess individual care needs.
• Develop, implement and evaluate personalised care plans.
• Administer medications in line with doctors’ prescriptions and NMBI/HIQA guidelines.
• Safely manage controlled drugs according to established procedures and legislation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to ensure holistic resident care.

Required profile

• Registered on the NMBI Live Register of Nurses (General Division) – not a Decision Letter holder.
• Nursing degree from a recognised third‑level institution.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and ability to commute to the nursing home.
• Experience in a nursing home or interest in gerontology is advantageous.
