Staff Nurse – Ward 4A

About the role

The NHS Highland team on Ward 4A at Raigmore Hospital is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to join a dedicated group caring for patients who are recovering and awaiting discharge. You will work with elderly patients as well as occasional younger adults, providing holistic, person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and individualized nursing care to patients on Ward 4A.
• Support patients in activities that promote stimulation, engagement, and recovery.
• Collaborate with the Senior Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Manager and the education team.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordinate with long‑term care facilities.

Required profile

• Registered nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients.
• Committed to delivering holistic, enabling care.
• Willing to develop skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
• Eligible to work in the UK without NHS sponsorship.
