Staff Product Designer - Design Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead and evolve a world‑class design system in a fast‑growing, AI‑driven technology environment. This fully remote position offers the chance to shape consistency, efficiency and innovation across complex digital products used by thousands of businesses worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy, roadmap and continuous evolution of the organization’s design system.
• Design, build and maintain reusable UI components, patterns, documentation and workflows using atomic design principles.
• Collaborate with product designers, engineers and stakeholders to streamline cross‑functional workflows and improve design‑to‑code integration.
• Drive system adoption through guidance, training and advocacy.
• Contribute to end‑to‑end feature development via research, wireframing, prototyping and high‑fidelity design.
• Explore and implement AI‑powered tools to boost design efficiency, scalability and collaboration.
• Mentor peers, promote systems thinking and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product design experience, including building and scaling enterprise‑level design systems.
• Strong expertise in user‑centered design, interaction design and end‑to‑end product design processes.
• Proven leadership in defining design‑system strategies and driving organization‑wide adoption.
• Solid understanding of front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and close collaboration with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with component‑based architectures and modern design tools such as Figma.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI technologies applied to design workflows.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
