Staff Product Designer – Design Systems (Remote, EMEA)

About the role

Hostaway is looking for a Staff Product Designer to own and evolve its design system. This fully remote position serves the EMEA region and plays a strategic role in shaping the visual and interaction language of an AI‑powered vacation‑rental management platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the design system built in Figma.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create reusable components, patterns, and documentation.
• Integrate AI tooling such as Claude Code to improve design output, efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop new collaborative workflows that bridge design and front‑end development.
• Produce clear, accessible documentation and provide training to drive system adoption.
• Contribute to end‑to‑end product features, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high‑fidelity design.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading design systems at a senior or staff level.
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional teams and champion design consistency.
• Comfortable working fully remote and collaborating across time zones within EMEA.
