Store Assistant

About the role

As a Store Assistant you will support the smooth operation of our hotels by managing inventory, handling deliveries and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy and work alongside experienced team members in a friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage storage and requisition of all food, beverage, cleaning chemicals, stationery and disposables, maintaining appropriate par stock levels.
• Accept deliveries, inspect for damage and verify compliance with HACCP regulations.
• Store items correctly, applying a first‑in‑first‑out rotation system, especially for perishable goods.
• Take ownership of the purchasing process from order processing to delivery verification.
• Source, select and negotiate purchasing packages with suppliers based on quality, price, terms and delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing is an advantage.
• Hotel experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow food safety standards.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
