Store Assistant – Retail Team Member

About the role

As a Store Assistant at Aldi in Ballincollig you will be at the heart of the store, ensuring a smooth and welcoming shopping experience for customers. You’ll work in a fast‑paced, friendly team, handling everything from receiving deliveries to helping shoppers find what they need.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service on the shop floor.
• Stock shelves, check product quality and maintain merchandising standards.
• Operate the till accurately and promptly, handling cash and basic transactions.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and keeping the store tidy.

Required profile

• Approachable, hardworking and comfortable being on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable, flexible and able to adapt to a fast‑moving environment.
• Positive, “can‑do” attitude with a focus on teamwork.
• Retail experience is a plus but not essential – attitude matters most.
