Store Operator

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Store Operator to manage the day‑to‑day operations of our client’s store. You will ensure that materials, components and goods are received, stored and distributed safely and accurately while supporting a fast‑paced operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and dispatch materials, components and goods.
• Operate forklift and counterbalance vehicles to load and unload deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock checks.
• Keep the store area clean and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Participate in an on‑call rota every other week to support operational needs outside normal hours.

Required profile

• Valid Forklift Licence.
• Valid Counterbalance Licence.
• Full, clean Driving Licence.
• Previous experience in a store, warehouse, logistics or similar environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and flexible approach, including willingness to join the on‑call rota.
