Stores Person

About the role

The Villa Rose Hotel is looking for a reliable Stores Person to manage the receipt, storage and control of drinks and beverage stock. You will ensure deliveries are processed accurately and stock areas are kept to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and sign for drinks and supplier deliveries.
• Verify deliveries against documentation and report any discrepancies.
• Store all stock safely, securely and in the correct locations.
• Maintain strict FIFO stock rotation procedures and uphold product quality.
• Keep stores, cellars and stock rooms clean, tidy and well organised.
• Liaise with the Purchasing Manager on stock issues, shortages or damaged goods.
• Assist in maintaining accurate stock records and documentation.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.

Required profile

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
• Good communication and record‑keeping abilities.
• Previous experience in stores, warehouse, stock control, retail or hospitality is desirable.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
