Strategic Business Director

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Business Director to lead a major division of a leading FMCG organisation in Dublin. Reporting to the General Manager, you will shape commercial strategy, drive revenue and profit growth, and build strong relationships with key customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute commercial strategy to achieve sustainable growth.
• Manage P&L performance and deliver profitability targets.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing leadership team.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations to influence business performance.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities and route‑to‑market initiatives.
• Maintain and expand relationships with strategic customers and partners.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience in FMCG, distribution or a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue and profit growth.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and lead sales organisations.
• Extensive industry networking and route‑to‑market expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
