Supervising Pharmacist (Ballyfermot)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Supervising Pharmacist to lead our team at Hickey's Le Fanu Pharmacy in Ballyfermot. This permanent, full‑time position works 41 hours per week, covering standard opening hours from Monday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Pharmacy Act 2007 and all statutory regulations.
• Maintain professional standards of the community pharmacy and oversee health‑promotion programmes.
• Manage stock control, receipt, documentation, and security of pharmacy inventory.
• Oversee Department of Health schemes (DPS, LTI, GMS) and ensure accurate monthly reconciliation.
• Support the Pharmacy Manager in retail standards, merchandising, and category management.
• Implement Allcare Pharmacy policies, SOPs, and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of business information.

Required profile

• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland with at least 3 years post‑registration experience.
• 1‑2 years experience as a Supervising Pharmacist is highly advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Highly organized, able to multitask accurately in a busy environment.
• Self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
