Supervising Pharmacist – North Wicklow

About the role

We are looking for a Supervising Pharmacist to lead one of our North Wicklow branches. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of pharmacy service, compliance and customer experience while supporting a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with PSI legislation.
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage dispensary tasks.
• Lead and develop pharmacy staff, including scheduling and performance management.
• Oversee stock control, inventory, and sales of pharmacy items.
• Manage cash handling, administration and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Maintain professional presentation and high standards of hygiene throughout the pharmacy.
• Provide flexible support to colleagues and managers as needed.

Required profile

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Retail pharmacy experience, preferably with people‑management responsibilities.
• Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays when required.
• Helpful, courteous, compassionate and customer‑focused attitude.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑organised with solid administrative abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask during busy periods.
• Fluent in English.
