Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our client’s team and ensure the highest quality standards across their supplier network. You will work closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement, support regulatory compliance, and help deliver exceptional products.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct supplier audits, prepare audit reports, and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues, including handling complaints and deciding on quarantine or rejection of non‑conforming raw materials.
- Maintain and update quality documentation such as the Approved Supplier List and related records.
- Identify critical raw‑material quality risks and collaborate with suppliers to implement effective solutions.
- Build strong supplier partnerships through regular performance reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Ensure supplier processes meet applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company expectations.
Required profile
- Experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, manufacturing, or a similar technical environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards such as ISO 13485.
- Internal or Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across cross‑functional teams and supplier networks.
- Organisational skills and flexibility to travel occasionally (up to 5%).
