Supply Chain Co‑Ordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain Co‑Ordinator will join a growing operations team in County Tipperary, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role bridges the operations department with planning, finance, sales, IT and quality control, ensuring smooth flow of goods across Ireland and Great Britain.

Key responsibilities

• Enter daily sales orders into internal systems, primarily via EDI, and verify order accuracy.
• Coordinate collection times for domestic and export loads and optimise load planning to minimise distribution costs.
• Manage stock movements in third‑party locations across Ireland and Great Britain, including returnable packaging.
• Liaise with haulage partners, customer distribution centres and raw‑material suppliers to schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Prepare Advance Shipping Notices, customs declarations, Export Health Certificates and IPAFFS documentation for UK shipments.
• Attend internal logistics meetings, resolve shipment and inventory issues, and produce daily performance reports.
• Respond to customer queries and ensure timely resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in supply chain, logistics or operations support.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑departmental collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience using EDI systems for order processing.
