Supply Chain Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, logistics and inventory functions for a leading mechanical & electrical contractor based in County Mayo. The role will support the delivery of large‑scale engineering and construction projects by ensuring cost‑effective sourcing and seamless material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end procurement processes, from supplier selection to contract negotiation.
• Manage logistics and transportation to guarantee timely delivery to construction sites.
• Control inventory levels, conduct stock analysis and implement optimisation strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal project teams.
• Monitor spend, drive cost‑saving initiatives and ensure compliance with commercial policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of supply chain experience, preferably within construction or M&E projects.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
• Strong commercial awareness and proven cost‑control track record.
• Experience working with ERP and purchasing platforms.

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with purchasing platforms.
