Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer – Electronic Security

About the role

Acre Security is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of access control and intrusion products at external EMS partners. Based in Dublin with a hybrid work model, you will help ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality manufacturing while managing component lifecycles and supply‑chain risks.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary manufacturing engineering interface for assigned EMS partners, ensuring processes meet technical, cost, and delivery targets.
• Drive resolution of manufacturing, yield, and field‑return issues in collaboration with R&D.
• Maintain data quality and governance using Arena, Jira, and Silicon Expert.
• Own assurance of supply across the product lifecycle, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Lead EMS transfers, including BOM, process, test, and tooling alignment.
• Conduct component lifecycle and obsolescence assessments and implement cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Define and approve production test requirements, reviewing functional and in‑circuit test strategies.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing engineering within a supply‑chain or EMS environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess risk, cost, and yield.
• Ability to collaborate closely with R&D, supply‑chain managers, planners, and buyers.
