About the role

As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist at Verizon, you will be responsible for ensuring the right products are available at the right time while optimizing inventory and working capital. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to interpret forecasts, manage replenishment, and support strategic supply decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop, and manage daily supply planning and inventory optimization for Verizon’s product portfolio.
• Lead the replenishment planning and forecasting process, meeting all deadlines.
• Implement process‑improvement solutions that generate measurable benefits.
• Maintain service‑level targets while maximizing working capital.
• Perform detailed data analysis to support informed supply decisions.
• Participate in cross‑functional project teams to achieve strategic objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and inventory‑optimization initiatives.
• Adjust inventory levels based on market conditions, promotions, and demand fluctuations.
• Communicate launch‑readiness supply plans to senior leadership and address supply health during S&OP cycles.
• Utilize the IBP planning system for daily replenishment plans and maintain SKU master data.
• Execute weekly inventory valuation and projection using system tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong business acumen and relationship‑management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, including executive‑level presentations.
• Experience in supply chain or planning, preferably within telecom or high‑tech.
• Familiarity with S&OP processes, IBP, and SAP.
