Supply Planning Transformation Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Planning Transformation Specialist to join a global client’s newly created deployment team. Working remotely from Ireland with regular EU travel, you will lead large‑scale supply‑chain transformation projects across manufacturing sites, introducing new planning operating models, processes and digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deployment of supply planning transformation initiatives at assigned sites.
• Act as the primary transformation contact for site stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site readiness assessments, identify gaps and develop site‑specific deployment, training and change‑management plans.
• Drive adoption of new planning processes, operating models and digital planning tools.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions and capability‑building activities for site teams.
• Monitor milestones, KPIs and deliverables, escalating risks and issues as needed.
• Partner with supply‑chain, operations, manufacturing and leadership teams to ensure alignment.
• Embed sustainable processes for post‑deployment operations and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, manufacturing scheduling or S&OP environments.
• Background in pharmaceutical, life‑sciences, medical‑device or other highly regulated manufacturing.
• Proven experience supporting or leading supply‑chain transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and influencing skills across multiple functions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Implementation experience with planning systems such as SAP IBP, SAP APO or SAP ECC.
• Formal project‑management experience or certification.
• Change‑management qualification or certification.
