Support Pharmacist – Ashford

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Support Pharmacist to join our growing pharmacy group in Ashford. The successful candidate will work closely with the supervising pharmacist, providing day‑to‑day support across dispensing, stock management and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the supervising pharmacist with staff management, stock control and housekeeping tasks.
• Carry out dispensary duties in line with PSI legislation and best practice.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less‑experienced pharmacy staff.
• Support colleagues in other branches when required.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience in Ireland.
• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Willingness to work alternate weekends and flexible hours.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Dispensing and pharmacy operations.
• Knowledge of PSI legislation and dispensing practices.
• Ability to mentor and support pharmacy staff.
