Support Pharmacist (Full-time, Lucan, Dublin)

About the role

PharmaConex is seeking a Support Pharmacist for a well‑established independent pharmacy in Lucan, Dublin. This permanent full‑time role works five days a week with a rotating Saturday shift, offering a positive, upbeat environment without late‑night or Sunday work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight of the dispensary and supervise dispensing activities.
• Deliver patient consultations, medicines use reviews and other clinical services.
• Operate the Touchstore dispensing and EPOS system to manage prescriptions and transactions.
• Collaborate with the dispensary technician team to ensure safe and accurate prescription processing.
• Advise patients on medications, side effects, interactions and general health queries.
• Support community pharmacy services and HSE‑contracted programmes.
• Participate in the clinical governance framework and adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Support the development and well‑being of the wider pharmacy team and perform other day‑to‑day duties.

Required profile

• BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.
• Strong dispensing and clinical skills with a patient‑centred approach.
• Registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with leadership abilities.
• Proven people‑management experience.
