Support Pharmacist

About the role

As a Support Pharmacist at Boots Ireland you will provide expert care and advice to customers and patients, ensuring safety and high‑quality service in a community pharmacy setting. You will be a trusted professional who listens, reassures and delivers a range of pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the pharmacy strategy by providing expert care and advice.
• Make legal and ethical decisions for the pharmacy.
• Build pharmacy capability within store teams.
• Conduct continual review through audits, observations and risk assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Deliver a range of professional pharmacy services.

Required profile

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Demonstrates high professional expertise and is respected by peers, patients and external professionals.
• Passionate about community pharmacy and delivering the best care.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communicator who can put people at ease and meet varied customer needs.
