Support Pharmacist – Meath (4‑day week)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Support Pharmacist to join our community‑based pharmacy group in Meath. The role involves supporting pharmacy operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with legislation while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Support the supervising of the pharmacy, including staff management, stock control, sales, and housekeeping.
• Manage dispensary tasks and ensure compliance with PSI legislation and dispensing practices.
• Provide assistance to dispensary staff and colleagues across the branch as needed.
• Mentor less‑experienced staff and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience in Ireland.
• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Full driving licence and flexibility to work alternate weekends.
• Customer‑focused, compassionate, and able to adapt to branch needs.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑organised with good administrative abilities and capable of working under pressure.
• Fluent in English.
